Daily Wrapup - April 7th, 2008

Our GBP/USD took a short signal early on and quickly took profit before retracing back up to the Europe open price. All went as planned and in the end tt was good for 1.6% gain.

Our Intra-day pairs unfortunately were plagued with very little market activity. As is the case whenever this occurs, neither was able to do much of anything. The USD/JPY took its first entry long that closed out about 3 hours later at breakeven. It then took a short entry and as of this post it is still in the position and sitting at break even. The GBP/JPY took two long entries, the first losing 1% and the second losing 1/2%. The strategy so far is down 1.5% on the day.

The system as a whole is up about 1/10% but waiting on the close of the last USD/JPY to know the daily outcome.

UPDATE: At 7:30am EST the USD/JPY closed out for a loss of .75%. The system as a whole ended the day down a little less than 1%. A product of a slow market.
