As you probably already knew, we were not trading today. There were quite a few reasons for that. First it was the last day of the quarter, of the month, and a Monday. All three of those are traditionally bad trade days and putting all three together made it even higher risk. Two, we had a great end to the month and wanted to take a day off to celebrate. And three, Europe had just moved their clocks back one hour and it is good to take a breather and let the market adjust to the changes.
At the end of the day our decision to stay out of the market was mixed. The GBP/USD signaled a no-trade anyway as so we would not have traded it. And our Intraday about broke even for the day. I would have to spend some more time to figure exactly where it would have ended up but at quick glance it looked to be a broken-even day. So all in all, it didn't save or lose us money by taking the day off... but it was a nice chance to rest and get ready for the second quarter of this year.
